What does the Week 9 injury report look like?
Sunday of Week 9, and the injury report is doing its usual thing: 8 Questionable tags on players that matter, 8 already ruled Out. Here's who to check first, and who actually played the last time each one sat, so you're not guessing at 12:55.
We list every QB, RB, WR and TE rostered in at least 20% of leagues or averaging 50%+ of his team's snaps whose status isn't Healthy, from the GridIron API's /players data. BAL and JAX already played Week 9, so their players are left out. The "who played" column comes from Week 8 snap share: if the player sat that week, it names the teammate whose share jumped; otherwise the teammate next in line by snaps.

What it means for your lineup
- Amon-Ra St. Brown carries the week's most-rostered question mark at 100% rostered. He's played 84% of snaps this season, so his inactive call moves real lineups. Next in line by Week 8 snaps: Isaac TeSlaa at 36%.
- George Pickens (WR, DAL) is Questionable, 100% rostered, on a 78% season snap share. Next in line by Week 8 snaps: Ryan Flournoy at 68%.
- Emeka Egbuka (WR, TB) is Questionable, 98% rostered, on a 86% season snap share. Next in line by Week 8 snaps: Tez Johnson at 42%.
- Settle Carnell Tate (TEN) before his kickoff: Questionable, 82% of snaps when he plays. The last time he was out, Chimere Dike took the job, 13% to 82% of snaps in Week 8.
- Hunter Henry (TE, NE) is Questionable, 67% rostered, on a 66% season snap share. Keep a later-kickoff backup on the bench so the inactives run can't strand you.
Who is Doubtful or Out, and who replaces them?
| Player | Pos | Team | Status | Rostered | Season snaps | If he sits |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cam Skattebo | RB | NYG | Doubtful | 98% | 55% | — |

| Sam Darnold | QB | SEA | Out | 31% | 87% | — |
| Jauan Jennings | WR | MIN | Out | 2% | 67% | — |
Who gets the snaps?
- Cam Skattebo (RB, NYG) is Doubtful. Plan without him and replace him with a player who has a role, not a name.
- A.J. Brown (WR, NE) is Out. When he sat in Week 8, Kyle Williams went from 30% to 83% of snaps: that's your pivot.
- Out for DeVonta Smith, rostered in 99% of leagues. When he sat in Week 8, Darius Cooper went from 56% to 96% of snaps: that's your pivot.
- Garrett Wilson (WR, NYJ) is Out. With him out, Adonai Mitchell is next in line: 61% of snaps in Week 8.
- Mike Evans won't give you anything this week (Out). Plan without him and replace him with a player who has a role, not a name.
Who is on a reserve list?
These players are on IR or another reserve list and can't play this week: Jeremiyah Love (ARI, IR), Davante Adams (LAR, IR), Jalen Hurts (PHI, IR), Brian Robinson Jr. (ATL, IR), Cole Kmet (CHI, IR), Andrei Iosivas (CIN, IR), Tyquan Thornton (KC, IR), Josh Oliver (MIN, IR). If you're still starting one of them out of habit, that's the easiest fix you'll make all day.

When do Sunday inactives land in the data?
Teams announce inactives about 90 minutes before kickoff, and our injury data refreshes right after each wave. This page is the morning picture; the statuses above can change at each run.
| Refresh | Changes recorded | Catches |
|---|---|---|
| 12:45 pm | 12:55 pm | Inactives for the 1:00 pm games |
| 3:50 pm | 4:00 pm | Inactives for the 4:05 and 4:25 pm games |
| 7:45 pm | 7:55 pm | Sunday Night Football inactives |
Pro: /injuries/changes returns just the players whose status flipped, about 10 minutes after each run. See the game-day injury guide for a poller that alerts on your roster.
How can I check my own roster's statuses?
One call per player on the free plan. Run it after each Sunday refresh and you'll see the same statuses this page shows:
import requests
API = "https://api.gridirondata.com/api/v1"
H = {"x-api-key": "YOUR_KEY"}
MY_TEAM = {"Puka Nacua#WR", "Jaylen Warren#RB", "Brock Bowers#TE"}
for pid in MY_TEAM:
p = requests.get(f"{API}/players/{requests.utils.quote(pid)}", headers=H).json()
status = p.get("seasons", {}).get("2026", {}).get("injury_status") or "Healthy"
print(f"{pid:28} {status}")
Three players is three requests. Checking a full 15-man roster after all three Sunday runs is 45, nearly all of the free plan's 50 a month, so try it on the free plan and move to Basic (5,000 a month) to run it every week.
Frequently asked questions
When are NFL inactives announced?
About 90 minutes before each kickoff. On Sundays our injury data refreshes at 12:45, 3:50 and 7:45 pm ET, after each wave, and status changes land in the Pro feed about 10 minutes later.
Is this page updated during the games?
No. It shows the injury report as of Sunday, November 8 at 9:04 am ET. For the flips after that, re-pull /players after each refresh, or poll /injuries/changes with a Pro key.
What does Questionable mean for my lineup?
That the team hasn't ruled him in or out. Wait for the inactives run for his game, and keep a same-position backup who plays later in the day so a late scratch doesn't cost you a zero.
Why are some injured players missing from this list?
We list players rostered in at least 20% of leagues or averaging 50%+ of snaps, and we leave out teams that already played this week (BAL and JAX).
